Boom, Kosa, Kpision.........are different sounds that are heard during the war. "Everybody, run towards the east for safety" are the statements heard. Children crying, everyone panicky, older men and women shaky. Everywhere rowdy, mothers runing around to gather their children, fathers organizing their families getting ready to run for safety. Suddenly, Kosa, Oh a straying bullet has hit an innocent boy trying to pick up some few things and runaway. Oh, my son is dead cried the mother but what would she do in the heated scenario? Nothing but to gather the other kids for safety.

What next, everybody running for safety, bullets flying in the air, houses set ablazed. There, you will see a family with a little household luggage they can carry running awayfrom the scene. Where do they go to? Some had nowhere, some had relatives to go to. Everybody running miserably as long as they are away from the war scene.

Funnily enough, but surprisingly , you see chicken, goats, birds and other living creatures all gone into temporary extinction. Then you would imagine what gave them the instinct to run for safety. If animals could run for safety, how much more humans. The most pitiable of it allis the impending hunger looming in the air. The market place is closed, the little food stuff carried along is reduced drastically. What a pitiable condition for such victims. What about the illnesses that results from the war. The rowdiness which allows for transmission of diseases. The unhygeinic food and water source available is taken in without any choice.
Homelessness, lack of food, lack of potable water, lack of good rest and the good things of life, and many more miseries are what goes together with war.
