We just watched Clay Buchholz
Pitch a no-hitter game
The Red Sox had never
Had a rookie do the same.

As the game went on
And the ending grew near,
The fans were elated,
His confidence was clear.

The final pitch was thrown,
He completed his fate.
It is moments like this
That makes American sports great.

Tonight, Clay Buchholz pitched a no-hitter producing a win for the Boston Red Sox. This 23 year old is the first rookie to pitch a no-hitter for the Boston Red Sox.

Did You Know?
Buchholz is the first rookie for the Red Sox to ever pitch a no-hitter.

I would've loved to see him pitch in the Playoffs. Alas, next year.
