Knights Inn in Martinsburg WV

Me and my boyfriend had to take a trip to Martinsburg Wv for the weekend. I had to work the day we were leaving to go to Martinsburg so he decided he would leave before me and I would come down after I got off work at 1 am that night. I was paying for the hotel so I called the hotel the night before to make the reservations.

The guy I made the reservations with told me it was fine that I was using my credit card to reserve the room for my boyfriend and he would not have a problem checking in. My boyfriend arrived the next day around 5 pm and tried to check in. They would not let him check in!!!

My boyfriend explained to the front desk lady that we had called the night before and they said it was fine if he checked in before me. The lady at the desk just gave him a weird look and would not help him out at all so my boyfriend storms out of the hotel saying " What am I supposed to do now?!?!"

My boyfriend calls me and I call the hotel and speak to a lady and when I explained my situation she says "Oh you know what? Sorry I am helping another customer you are going to have to call back!!" and she hangs up. I was at work so I could not call back right away so I called back a little bit later and got the SAME GUY I had made the reservations with I explained to him what happened and he remembered me YET he would not do anything for me. He called his manager on anothr phone and I could hear everything he was saying.

He spoke in a foreign language but kept saying in English "crazy boyfriend" and laughing. Then he came back on the phone and said "Sorry...you cant have refund....you can only cancel before 6 pm" This really frustrated me because I was not planning on cancelling and was not even trying to cancel I was just trying to get my boyfriend into a room. They would not let him checkin, they would not try to resolve the problem with me over the phone, and they would not give me my money back because it was now passed 6 pm.
