Rejuvacote, the Miracle Nail Growth System - Product Review

I have had the lifelong curse of having lovely long fingers and beautifully shaped hands but the ugliest, flimsiest, most easily breakable fingernails on God's green earth. I suppose the nails went with the thin hair and the pathetic eyelashes, some genetic thing inherited from a close relative who shall remain nameless. Okay, Mom, you did give me a great brain and a strong faith, so all is not lost. And that idea of yours to drink gallons of gelatin-laced water? All that did was gum up my insides, leaving my nails as weak and tear-able as before.

Most of my life I've ignored the situation, leaving my nails totally nude so as not to be noticed. Hoping no one was looking too close. During one three or four year period, I broke down, yielding to the temptation to look like all those other women, and got fake nails. But I'm a harpsichordist and pianist and even playing at an amateur level, the click of those acrylic nails on the ivories, or in the case of the harpsichord, those ebonies, made me nuts. Bach with a finger tap dancing accompaniment.

Then came the big occasion, my daughter's wedding. Thoughts of encasing my poor brittle, torn-off-below-the-quick nails flashed through my mind. After all, I had spent an enormous sum on my mother of the bride dress and twenty times that on the wedding itself. Didn't I deserve beautiful, long, shapely nails?

I dropped into my local beauty supply store, only because it was next door to my women's exercise salon, thinking at least to buy some pale pink polish. Nothing too obtrusive. Something that would blend into the eighth of an inch of flesh that stood out above my crummy nails.
