Feel that Heartbeat

More: Heartbeat Pause
Do you feel nervous? Do you feel your heart is beating too fast? Oftentimes, the phrase "I'm nervous" is heard when asked, your heartbeat seems like the sound of a horse's feet running on a race. When this happens have
you tried pausing for a moment?

Have you heard this saying, "What the heart knows today, the head will understand tomorrow." Well, wether you agree or not, it really is true. Listen right now, lets have a little "heart to heart talk". Actually its really is more than a talk, its more of a "heart helper".

For the next time you're feeling confused or upset about making a decision, pause for a moment, feel your heartbeat! Yes, when you have to decide something important, sit down quietly and feel your heartbeat. Literally, put you hand over your heart and feel its beating. That heartbeat is life, life which our Heavenly Father has given us. His miracle of creation. He leaves it up to you as to what kind of heart yours will be. For you can be tender hearted or you can be hard hearted.

Think about that as you feel your own heart beating, it truly can help you make the right decision. It can help you feel the right thing to do even in the midst of pressures and conflicts. Will you take the hard hearted route, with no regard for how your decision might hurt and dissapoint others? Or will the heart within you let tenderness and compassion influence your decision?

By the mere act of sitting there calmly, you'll be so aware of God's gift of life. You'll recall that God is love and surely He must want your own heart to be filled with love, to be the guiding force in all your decisions. Even though your head might not at the moment understand everything, chances are, how you feel in your heart is right and good when yours is a tender and gentle heart.

For it is in the heart that God dwells most assuredly and you are far more apt to hear His answer. Yes, feel His answer... as you feel the beating of your own heart.
