It's funny how life is. Imagine two people sitting at home.

John: "What's for dinner"
Mary: "I don't know, I don't feel like cooking"
John: "Me neither. I definitely don't want to make anything. Let's go out"
Mary: "Where should we go?"
John: "How about Fuddruckers! They let you make your own Burger!"
Mary: "Sounds fun! Let's go!"

Ok, do you see the irony here? When you sit at home, look in your fridge, you just don't want to cook. Yet, when you go to Fuddruckers, preparing your own food is suddenly entertaining! No, you don't cook your own burger, exactly, but read on to find out why this is such a great fun restaurant!

Where'd this place come from??
Fuddruckers started up in texas. I don't know if that gives you any indication of the type of food, but if you live in San Antonio, you might want to check out the first one ever. This restaurant has only been around since 1980. It's only a little older than me! If you want to know how good they are, just think of how in a little over 25 years they have already expanded so much! A restaurant started in Texas, and 25 years later it's here in Michigan with multiple locations. They must be good, or else they would have never made it all over the country.

"Phil Romano created it, because he couldn't find a place to get a great, fresh hamburger" that's the only real story behind this place!

What can I eat?
(menus vary, I eat in the Detroit, MI area)

As you've probably guessed, Fuddruckers is a Burger Joint (to say the least). They are the Home of the "World's Greatest Hamburgers" according to their website. I would say, I agree! They offer more than just regular burgers. Most burgers can be ordered in 1 of these sizes: 1lb, 2/3 lb, 1/2 lb, or 1/3 lb. Note - some burgers like the Veggie burger, are limited to 1/3 or 1/2 lb. Following are some snippets of the Menu (minus all the fancy taglines and labels)

Specialty Burgers:
Three Cheese, Swiss Melt, Bacon Cheddar, Portabello Mushroom, Low Carb

Make your own Specialty:
Create your own Specialty with a combination of any of these items - Grilled Mushrooms, Chili, Ones, any of multiple cheeses, etc.

Exotic Burgers
Ostrich!, Turkey, Salmon, Garden, Ribeye Steak
