Clean & Clear Morning Burst Scrub with Bursting Beads
Trying Something New - Morning Burst Scrub Isn't Just for Mornings
The Product
I'm not real technical about beauty products as I usually buy them based on advertising. I don't know exactly what's in it, but you can read all that useful info on http://www.cleanandclear.com. In layman's terms (aka vivasuzi's terms), this scrub is a creamy gel containing lots of little exfoliating beads. It's supposed to clean and soften your skin while energizing you at the same time. Does it work? Read on to see!
Using it
The product is intended as an early morning routine, but I'm not a morning person and I really don't like to wake up with a "burst". Instead, I use this product when I shower before bed. This is actually more convenient because it takes a little work to wash off the gel and beads, so being in the shower makes it much easier than over the sink. I take a little squeeze of the gel and scrub it deep into my face and neck, sometimes even my shoulders when they feel icky. When I scrub it on, it feels like it is really cleaning my pores. I let it sit for a few minutes because it feels cool as it sits and makes me feel relaxed. It has a slight citrus smell. Washing it off takes longer than expected just because it is a thicker gel.
The Aftermath
Once I have it all rinsed off, my face instantly feels silky smooth and clean. I don't generally have problem skin, but I do feel oily after a long day of wearing makeup. This scrub definitely gets rid of that oily feeling and I feel like my pores had a good bath! I don't feel like any minor skin issues will be instantly solved, but at least I feel cleaner. When I use this product and don't follow up with anything, I can go to bed and still feel pretty good about my skin. However, I usually follow up with some kind of toner because the Morning Burst feeling is temporary and I start to feel oily if I don't follow up with anything.
