Variety is the word that comes to mind when one thinks about the menu here at El Centro, with entrees ranging from burritos to numerous seafood dishes. All dishes are heavily influenced by the Mexican and Latin American areas that they come from, which is obvious as one bites into each meal. As the number of Mexican restaurants gradually increases in this area, El Centro Restaurant still stands out among them all, due in large part to their wonderful cuisine. Some of the popular dishes here at El Centro include posole and chilaquiles, and this restaurant believes that everyone who comes will have a terrific dining experience.

The setting here at El Centro, although nothing fancy, is set up with the thoughts of comfort and relaxation in mind. When one comes through the door, this restaurant wants to make sure that they have a clean, open, and inviting area in which to enjoy their seafood taco with friends and family. It the thought here at El Centro that no one will leave disappointed, with both a full stomach and a nice picture in their mind of this wonderful place.

What We Say

The food here does not stray too far from the typical Mexican food menu; however, the freshness of everything is what really sets El Centro apart from the others. One can't go wrong with some grilled corn on the cob as their appetizer, which in turn "primes the pump" for the wonderful entrees that the wait staff sets in front of them. The steak enchiladas are to die for, the pork chilaquiles are equally as appetizing, and one cannot forget the basics of any good Mexican restaurant, such as the tacos and burritos. The food is terrific here at El Centro Restaurant.

The scenery can be summed up best as an explosion of colors, and at times almost makes someone want to wince for being so bright. With Mexican splashes of decorations almost everywhere one looks, El Centro does a terrific job in setting up a great atmosphere for one to enjoy their food in. El Centro Restaurant is a must-try for, basically, anyone and everyone in New York.
