What They Claim
There are not too many restaurants out there that can claim to have exclusive dishes in New York City. However, Villa Berulia has an entire line of cuisine, the Dalmatian Coast Specialties, that one cannot find anywhere else in city. Ancient recipes, modified by modern techniques, have grown to be the specialties of every chef here, and the result of this has been absolutely mouth-watering dishes. The Dalmatian cannelloni and the seafood Buzara are only a few of the many dishes served here at Villa Berulia.
Additional, the scene here at Villa Berulia is one that other Italian restaurants wish that they had half of. Not to toot one's own horn, but the atmosphere here is one that is found lacking elsewhere in all of New York City. Even the Zagat Survey described Villa Berulia as having "very courteous service" that makes one feel as if their "visiting famiglia." One shouldn't take our word for it, but should come and experience Villa Berulia for themselves.
What We Say
Just as they said, one cannot truly say that they had authentic Italian food until they've come to Villa Berulia. The food is absolutely tremendous, especially the Dalmatian cannelloni. Each and every bite of the food here makes one feel as if they've been missing out on something for all of their lives, and right at that moment they've found it. It both the belief of Villa Berulia and the many people who eat there that one will not find better food, let alone Italian food, in all of New York City.
The ambiance that one gets to enjoy their food is magnificent, with touches of Italy all over the dining area, and splashes of mellow, Italian eatery colors on every wall. The service is more than caring and concerned for each customer, which in itself is a tough quality to come by in most restaurants. Out-of-towners will leave wishing that they had a Villa Berulia back in their hometown. Villa Berulia is a wonderful dining experience.
Quick Tip
Starting June and going through Labor Day, Villa Berulia is closed on Sundays.
