The Lowe's Home Improvement store located in eastern Scioto County is located at 7915 Ohio River Road in Wheelersburg; telephone number (740) 574-6200. It is the largest home improvement store in Scioto County.

Lowe's is a huge store, selling lumber, hardware, paint, wallpaper, cabinets, carpet, appliances, plumbing, electrical, tools, lighting, lawn and gardening, grills, lawn tractors, windows, doors, molding, and ready made sheds.

So basically if you are looking to fix or repair your home, you need to make a run to Lowe's.

Lowe's can be pricey, so if extreme budget watching is called for, be sure to check with other sources, like salvage yards, or personal sales from the newspaper classified ads or even internet message boards. But if new items are wanted / needed, around this area, Lowe's has the largest selection.

Lowe's also has servicemen that can install certain things that they sell; for a price. They can install appliances, dozens of other things like garage door openers. They will also deliver large items for you, sometimes they charge, sometimes there is a limited free delivery area.

You can also buy extended warranties on appliances from Lowe's; anything goes wrong, and you call them and they send someone to come fix it, no extra charge. If you need help loading, they will help you no problem.

There is plenty of parking, the store is always clean, the sales associates are usually always helpful with out being overbearing. The restrooms are clean but are located in a really dumb place. They are located on the extreme right side of the store as you enter close to the far back corner. They should take a clue from Walmart and have one set in front and a set in the rear of the store.

One of my biggest problems with Lowe's is finding a salesperson to help me; while they have quite a few, the store is so huge that sometimes it takes a while to find one. And then once I find a salesperson, I am always 20 miles away from where the item that I wanted is. Then the salesperson takes off walking fast [I am slightly challenged physically] and I can barely stay in visual contact with them, as I rush to keep up with them.
