Changs Place in Sacramento, California: Restaurant Review

My husband and I just love trying different restaurants. One of our latest favorite places to eat is Changs Place is located in Sacramento California. We love Changs Place for a wide variety of reasons.

Changs Place is an Asian fine dining restaurant that serves wonderful food. We also love to start off with an appetizer. Some of our favorite appetizers are the spare ribs, crab wontons and peking dumplings. These appetizers are a must to try and are perfect for two people to share with each other. For the main entrees they have so many foods to choose from. The entrees come in great portions and are to be shared. My husband and I pick two dishes. Some of our favorite main entrees have been the crispy honey chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, orange peel chicken, lemon pepper shrimp, slat and pepper prawns and the wok seared lamb. The dishes come with rice. You have your choice of brown or white. It's always fun to end the eating experience with dessert. We have tried all their desserts. They have the banana spring rolls, cheesecake, huge chocolate cake and chocolate served with fruit. Our favorite is the banana spring rolls. They give you six rolls that re crisp. It comes with coconut ice cream drizzled with caramel sauce. So yummy!!

Changs menu prices are fairly reasonable. The entrees range from $8 - $18 dollars. You can find a menu item within your price range. The portions are great so if you weren't that hungry you can share a entrée.

The service is great. The servers were always friendly, quick and efficient. The servers have also been very helpful in explaining the different menu items and sharing what some of their personal favorites have been. If it is your first time they do a great job in explaining how it works at Changs. For example, there are three different sauces on your table. The server mixes the sauces according to the hotness that you desire.
