In just 5 minutes a day, Crest guarantees their Whitestrips Daily Multicare strips will whiten teeth. I put them to the test and this is my opinion.

I need to have my teeth whitened but can't afford to have it done at the dentist office. I've tried the 30 minute Crest Whitestrips in the past but they were too harsh on my gums. I tried cutting the strips down to where they wouldn't get on my gums but it didn't work and eventually gave up. So when I heard about these new ones that only take 5 minutes, I was excited to try them.

I paid $35.00 for a package of 42 pouches (each pouch has 1 upper and 1 lower strip (84 total strips). These strips were not any easier to peel than the 30 minute ones, and were just as gooey and slimy. They did seem to fit my teeth a tad bit better and did not make my gums sore or sensitive like the other ones, probably because I only kept them on for 5 minutes. I used them for nearly 4 weeks and have not seen any visible improvement in the whiteness of my teeth though. I am not a smoker and don't drink coffee, so I can't say the lack of whitening is due to anything I'm doing that might hinder the process.

I did like the five minute time frame and my teeth did feel nice and clean and smooth after using the strips. But I did not like peeling off the slimy strip or how hard it was to get the strip off. There was also a bit of icky aftertaste left behind after using the strips.

Bottom line is - I do not recommend them because they didn't whiten my teeth. Supposedly Crest guarantees the results but I haven't tried to get my money back yet.

I just bought new 5 minute Crest Whitestrips close to a week ago and my teeth are already whiter. To help the strips not slide around I dry my teeth before applying them. My teeth are also very sensitive and when I used to use the 30 minute strips my teeth would ache all day, but these dont bother my mouth whatsoever. I dont know why the strips dont work for some people but you'll never know if you dont try. 35$ is not going to empty your pocket and if you dont like the results after 60 days you can get a complete refund (save your receipt)

I have been using these strips for over three years. They do brighten my teeth but I have not seen the result that I would like therefor iI have decided to spend the money and get them done by a trusted dentist.

How can your husband have issues with getting them off the sleeve? He must have the intelligence of a glue-sniffing wombat. These work and don't listen to the person who wrote this review. If you have that many petty problems with the product besides it not working, you are evidently highly incompetent.

it's realy easy to get the strips out of the package, and the strips dont stick to your teeth. about everything you said here was false, apart from the gooey thing but if you want white teeth then it's not a big deal. they don't hurt my gums.. they're perfect and I noticed a change in my teeth. but believe what you want.

I would be afraid that they would hurt my gums. They are so touchy. Great review.

Terrific review. I had wondered about these for my kids who seem to have a difficult time (even at 11 yrs old) remembering to brush their teeth. The dentist told me that they make the teeth more sensitive which is something I don't need! Glad I read your review before spending money on this! Dave

I would drop them an email to let them know how you feel and ask for a return. Usually they are pretty good about sending your money back. Great review that will save me from buying them!

To made Crest can't make it easier to use these things though. My husband's dentist recommends that he use them (even over the tools that can be used in his office) but my husband has issues with getting the strips off the clear sleeve. Good Review!
