What They Claim
If one was to take the simple comfort food that Americans have come to grow and love over the years, and then take and add a modern twist to them, they would probably find themselves with the menu from Hudson Cafeteria. One can expect to come to this restaurant and receive many of the home-style favorites that many Americans have grown up to know and love. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or anything in between here at Hudson Cafeteria, no matter what one's tastes are. Stick to the "basics" food-wise, and Hudson Cafeteria will make sure that they're covered.
The food here at Hudson Cafeteria is good, but the setting here is even better. Outdoor dining is what most come for during the summer, with a new terrace out back setting a terrific atmosphere. Towering plants and ivy-covered walls surround the many diners who decide to enjoy their meal out back behind the restaurant. If one decides to dine inside, high ceilings and beautiful décor are abundant, making one's meal here a great and wonderful experience.
What We Say
The menu at Hudson Cafeteria has managed to walk the fence between two polar opposite cuisines; that of comfort food and the innovative fusion meals. The choice of entrees here is absolutely phenomenal, with dishes ranging from tarragon-scented mac and cheese, to the rare tuna steak in coconut soup, to the taro penne with chicken strips. Some dishes, however, do take a while to get used to, so if one doesn't exactly like a certain dish right at first, they shouldn't give up. Old standbys such as burgers and fries are still available at Hudson Cafeteria, just in case one wants to play it safe.
