One of the longest traditions in the world of sports has been the selling of baseball cards and sports cards. Baseball is considered to be America's past time and baseball cards were indeed the fatest growing sports cards to be bought by baseball fans everywhere. The first brand to see baseball cards was Topps. In the old days when the original Topps cards came out, a pack of card was less than 25 cents and it came with chewing gum. Now baseball packs cost around $5 and go much higher.
Buying and Selling Sports cards has become much more popular as it has become a great way of making money. People who have very old baseball cards in good condition make a lot of money by selling these cards to baseball stores or collectors who deeply value these old cards.
Rookie cards have become popular as anyone who finds a rookie in a pack of baseball cards is excited, even if they don't know who the player is. It doesn't matter if the player was chosen in the 1st round or 20th round because any rookie can become the next Hall of Famer.
