Do you want to know what you can use vinegar on in your kitchen? Well guess what, I'm going to tell you! In this article I'll tell you how to use it and what to use it on. You may find it helpful in most cases, and vinegar works so much better than regular cleaning detergents, especially on greasy surfaces because vinegar has an acidic base. We spend more time in the kitchen than in any other part of the house.

Vinegar can be used to help rid of those nasty stains in your coffee maker. Simply pour vinegar into the reservoir and brew it! Be sure to rinse the reservoir out thoroughly after the brewing is done. Easy way to do that, brew a few pots of plain water.

You can clean your refrigerator out using equal amounts of vinegar and water.

To clean out those nasty stains in your pots and pans, fill them with vinegar and let them stand for about an hour. After that hour is up, rinse them in soapy hot water, then take a look at how clean your pots are!

Got a self cleaning oven that doesn't really "self clean"? Listen up, I tried using a rag moistened with distilled vinegar, and it worked! The acidic minerals in the vinegar practically dissolved the grease after a few swipes, so I didn't even have to scrub it very hard.

Wipe your counter tops with a cloth moistened in vinegar also.

Do you have linoleum floors, but can't ever get them to shine, even after you just cleaned them? I used half a cup of white vinegar with half a gallon of warm water, and used my mop to wipe the floor down. It was sparkling clean after I got done and it dried. My floor looked like those floors in the commercials!

If you need your vegetables to be freshened up, try soaking good but wilted vegetables in 2 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of vinegar.

Get those bugs off! After picking fresh vegetables from your garden, wash them with a mixture of salt and vinegar, those bugs will come right off!

I was so sick of that onion smell on my hands after cutting an onion, so after I finished cutting the onion, I rubbed vinegar on my hands, then rinsed them with warm water. That ugly smell that lingers was gone.

Takeaways
  • Get bugs off of fresh vegetables.
  • Deodorize your kitchen sinks.
  • Tenderize your meats.
