Although the specific date does not matter, it is my goal to chart my progress for two weeks, letting any content producers, or potential producers, know what they might expect on Associated Content. I, myself, have only been on A.C. for about a month. Of course, everyone's experience is different, but this should help you out when you first begin on Associated Content.

A Little about Myself

First, it's important to say that I consider myself a writer, but I haven't always. Since my pre-teen years, I have had a love of writing. Most of my school notebooks were filled with random stories or ideas instead of notes for my classes.

Even after I graduated from college with an English degree and gained a position at an advertising agency, I still did not consider myself to be "one of the creative people" or "a writer." In fact, it wasn't until I found myself in the position of "stay-at-home mom" trying to make a little money on the side that I found myself pursuing the "writer" role. After a little exposure to Elance, I found myself busy, busy and by many, considered a writer. Now, as I write for myself, as myself, on A.C., I too consider myself a writer, but I suppose it is all subjective.

I love to write, but realistically, I know I am not the best writer. I'm far from the worst, but I am not the best. My goal, on Associated Content, is to use this medium as a way to write more, to improve my writing, and to make a little spending cash. But, to make sure that I follow through with this goal (unlike my goal of writing a blog, which lasted about a week) I have set daily goals. My goal is to submit five articles, and receive offers to total $10 per day. Whether that take one article or three, I'm not picky.

Today's Stats

Articles Written and Submitted: Five (5)

As Halloween approaches, I found myself writing seasonal pieces. I am also considering my journal entry to be an article, though it will not be submitted for payment. Finding topics to write on is not difficult, although some days the writing comes more easily to you. Today was a good day. I cranked my articles out easily and now that they are completed, I feel a bit lighter.
