Although this is from a multiple moms standpoint, there are many great tips which will help you be successful in the potty training moments. First and foremost, you have to make sure that your children are ready to be potty trained. With my girl, she gave me the obvious signs like pulling off her diaper and crying endlessly in the middle of the living room floor, so I thought. The question was, should I or shouldn't I? I knew the boys were not ready for this (2 boys and a girl by the way). After some thought, I gave it a try. I got her up to her mini toilet decorated with pink bows and all the bells and whistles, only to find her screaming and crying when I sat her on the "toiley". We waited, and waited, and waited somemore. Nothing! So, I lifted her off and turned my back to get her diaper. The good news is, she finally went to the bathroom after a half an hour of waiting. The bad news is, she ate something that must of upset her stomach and I had to buy a new bathroom rug, if you get my point. I couldn't understand why she would not go on the potty.
