Air Wick air fresheners come in various forms. One particular air freshener provided by this brand is in the form of aerosol sprays. I have used numerous Air Wick air freshener aerosol sprays over the years. While this product can be useful, there are important factors that you should consider before making a selection. Here is a review of Air Wick air fresheners from a consumer's point of view.

Scent

Air Wick air fresheners are available in a number of fragrances. They usually include the fragrance and an odor eliminating agent. Air Wick air fresheners smell nice. Most of these fragrances are a mixture of fruit and flowers. While I like some fruity scents, Air Wick air fresheners with this fragrance are very strong. The fruit and melon scents can become annoying. Therefore, these particular fragrances of Air Wick air fresheners should be used in moderation.

Quality

Air Wick air fresheners help to eliminate odors for a short period of time. I have used these air fresheners after preparing food and had minimal results. Air Wick air fresheners tend to cover up odors without completely eliminating them. In these cases, the air freshener scent just blends in with those odors that you are trying to get rid of. After observing how effective Air Wick air fresheners are, I have found an interesting characteristic. When sprayed around in a room, the contents of Air Wick air fresheners are heavy and less likely to dissolve.

I have been able to actually watch contents of Air Wick air fresheners as they were sprayed. This may be able to explain why the air freshener does not stay around for long. The heavy contents seem to fall, landing directly on the floor and other home furnishings. The limited amount of results may cause one to use Air Wick air fresheners repeatedly for one particular odor. Doing so will cause you to use more of this air freshener at once. That can affect your savings, as you may end up buying more Air Wick air fresheners to do a simple job.

How is masking odors and eliminating odors with odors make sense? Then you say some of them are overpowering. Make a pleasant scent that gives you the clean air and then let it dissipate. Lysol had such a product but now their "New Fresh Scent" label on all their air fresheners is so strong that their labels should read "Strong, annoying fresh scent with apples, citrus, etc." There are more and more individuals that cannot do your scented products be imaginative and make us healthy at the same time by eliminating your scents. The next news flash will be asthma/allergies are on the rise due to scented products.

Masking odors as opposed to eliminating odors aggrivates me. In comparing Air Wick with your Glad article. I would definitely go with Glade.
