My Review of Furr's Family Dining in Sun City, Arizona

Ok, so here goes...my review of Sun City's Furr's Family Dining is not very flattering to the restaurant. I am sorry, but it had to be told.

As anyone knows here in Arizona, Sun City is our state's senior hang out. Sun City provides exclusive living for senior's. There are a lot of places in Sun City that are for senior's only. So of course the dining areas should be good right?? Well I thought so. I used to go to eat at Furr's cafeteria in California all the time. Being born and raised in Oceanside, California we went out to eat a lot. I love buffet's. My husband does not like them at all but I love them. Furr's is labeled as a buffet but it is a cafeteria....where they serve you but you pick the food and go back as many times as you like. I have a family of seven all together and my dad was coming to visit from California this past holiday weekend.

Whenever my dad is in town, we like to try to go out and eat. My dad also loves buffet's, so the last time he came out here we took him to The Old Country Buffet in Glendale. We enjoyed that and even my husband can eat there food a little. We should have taken the time to drive all the way out there this time. See, we live in El Mirage now and there isn't much out here as far as restaurants go yet. We pass by Furr's all the time and I have always wanted to try it. So I suggested since I had a coupon that we take my dad over there to eat one night while he was here.
