How to Get Rid of the Flu Quick

I know, as a parent of two children and a wife to my husband taking care of my health is very important. If I am not healthy then I will have a hard time cooking, changing my children's diapers, doing the household chores, having sex with my husband, and entertaining my kids and a whole
 list of other things that seem to never end. I have learn from a health education class that I took about ten years ago there are simple things that you can do to get rid of a flu quickly. I am going to share with you these tips so it may help you get rid of your flu fast so you could get back to your normal routine of living.

Get lots of rest by sleeping. This is the most important thing you can do to get back to feeling healthy. Your body is fighting off a flu that will use up a lot of your energy. If you are doing other things such as taking your children to the mall your energy will be used up on that task. By sleeping you are allowing your body to fight off those nasty germs that are wearing you down.

Take your nutritional supplements. Your body can use all the help it can get. By taking your supplements that contain essential vitamins such as C you are strengthen your immune system to help fight off the flu. Make sure the vitamins that you do take is one that quickly absorbs in your system such as the Shaklee vitamins which can be purchased on the Shaklee website. There are many supplements that are sold in stores that don't fully absorb into the system, which won't be much help in fighting off that cold.

Stay away from junk food. Junk food such as chips and candy are not nutritious. They will just wear your body down and make you feel worse. Instead eat lots of fruits and vegetables that have a lot of important nutrients.

Drink lots of water. Lots of fluid especially water will help get rid of that yucky germ that you are trying to fight off. You should drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day and actually more when you have flu. This is because your body is losing fluid from the runny nose and possible diarrhea.

The flu is a virus, not germs. Just letting ya know. =] (If they were germs antibiotics would get rid of the flu)

There are many non-Shaklee vitamins that have been clinically proven to absorb into your system. Vitamin Cottage and Whole Foods have loads of good brands that work just as well without the multi-level marketing. There are lots of great homeopathic rememdies for colds and flu. Make sure to drink plenty of warm liquids and use steam or a humidifier to break up the mucus. Guifinisin helps quite a bit with this.

thank you!! i had flue 3rd time in a row now in 1 months ... hate it every xmas lol... my body doesent like climate change, therefore... i get ill most times. summer is fine.. love heat/.... and ty.. i red this article and now i am on vitamin C :P. also driking alot of water/ tea/ eating soup :P wana recover fast.. dont wann be ill on xmas day

right all the above didnt work for me I did everything you said in the end i have to take time of work and 3 lost of anti biotics did the trick so the above doesnt always work............

good tips..but easier said then done. Also i just want to say.. Having sex with ur hubby shouldnt be a chore!! If it is then you have problems!!
