Cog defeating strategies are very important for progressing in Disney's Toontown Online. Fortunately, they're pretty easy to learn.

You will earn experience points every time you throw a gag at a Cog. However, if a gag misses the Cog it's thrown at, you gain no experience points for that throw. Also, you have to be careful not to throw too high level gags at low level Cogs. When you can gain experience for a gag, the background behind it appears blue in the Gag selection area. Also be careful about throwing low level gags at high level Cogs, as these tend to miss.

There are things you can do to defeat Cogs more easily and to gain more experience points. You gain far more experience points for gags in the peripheral areas of Disney's Toontown Online, such as Donald's Dock, Minnie's Melodyland, Daisy's Garden, Donald's Dreamland and the Brrrgh than in Toontown Central. Ganging up on Cogs with other Toons also helps you to more easily defeat the Cogs.

One of the best things you can do to complete your ToonTasks in Toontown and increase your experience points to get more gags is to defeat Cog buildings. Experience points gained inside Cog buildings are dramatically higher than those gained on the streets. However, there are a few things you need to know before you begin.

First, never enter a Cog building alone. In Toontown Cog buildings are overrun with Cogs, and you can't run from the fight as you can on the street. I've been defeated in Cog buildings even when I had three companions to help me. So make sure that you have at least one other Toon with you when you enter. Also click the Toon who's joining you and make sure he has lots of high level gags, make sure his gags are stocked, and check his Laff points. If he's an inexperienced Toon or he's low on everything, he won't be much of an ally.

If you're a newbie, cogs can seem a little scary. However, when you earn some experience points, you will defeat them easily.

most cog buildings happen if there is an invasion of a high cog or there are many invasions happening. But one day i saw two cog buildings in loopy lane. i think it will be good if there was an invasion of a high level cog so it will take over a building. wait for another invasion of a weak cog. it will be better to defeat a level five cog building. one day there was a mr hollywood invasion and there were many buildings. but one day when i missed a high level bossbot, i went to silly street, and there were many cog buildings! P.S. i found a secret emotion! go to dd donalds dreamland go to the street to cashbot hq look for a shop called talking in your sleep voice training then say can i help you look at your emotions you will have a new emotion! the building is in the end of the street and might be a cog building now.

all u have to do is walk into an elevator that is OPEN. and i'll have you know. experience in buildings IS greatly increased. the floor exp is as follows. 1-1x exp 2-1.5x exp 3-2x exp 4-2.5x exp and 5-3x exp. HOWEVER!!!!! if an invasion is in progress and u walk into a cog building, it goes: 1-2x exp, 2-3x exp 3-4x exp 4-5x exp and 5- a whopping 6x exp. if during an invasion u are in a 5-story cog building and u pack a very weak gag because it is all u have in that track, have your buddies kill off the first floors and then u can use those gags on the final to get the maximum exp. if u think you can get soooo much as 500 or 600 for a place, your wrong. the maximum exp gain for an area of battle is 200 exp. which is still very good and big. if u want a battle strategy then don't mix lurers and droppers because drop always misses on a lured cog. sound is weak but will hit all cogs BUT will wake up any lured cog and trap needs lure to work. toon-up helps since it will heal one or all par
