The Devil Halloween costume is one of the most time tested and traditional Halloween costumes on the market today. The Devil Halloween costume has been around for pretty much as long as Halloween as been around. If you are looking for a quick, inexpensive and traditional Halloween costume for your child to dress up as for Halloween, then the Devil Halloween costume is a great choice to make.

The Devil Halloween costume is made with a simple red sweat suit as the basis of this wonderful Halloween costume. The Devil Halloween costume will require you to have other items to complete the Devil Halloween costume. The overall cost of making the Devil Halloween costume can be considered very inexpensive. The overall time required to make the Devil Halloween costume can be clocked at approximately 1-2 hours. The difficulty level of the Devil Halloween costume can be placed at medium-hard, because the Devil Halloween costume requires you to sew some things together.

The things that you will need to make the Devil Halloween costume for your child are as follows: red hooded sweat shirt, red sweat pants, red and black face paint, 1 1/2 yards of red material, red thread, needle, pencil, scissors, devil's pitchfork(optional), and pillow stuffing or batting.
Once you have acquired the needed items please proceed to Step 1.

Step 1. Take your 1 1/2 yards of red fabric.

Step 2. Fold the red fabric in half lengthwise.

Step 3. Cut off 1/2 yard of the red fabric with your scissors and set aside, this will be used for the devil's horns.

Step 4. Take the remaining yard of fabric and your pencil. Draw an outline of a devil's tail on the red fabric. Start at the bottom of the red fabric, red fabric should still be folded in half lengthwise, draw a straight line until you are almost at the end of the red fabric. At the end of the devil's tail it should be pointed like an arrow. Then follow the line back down on the other side.

Step 5. Cut out the red devil tail that you just drew with the pencil.

Step 6. Take your needle and red thread and sew the two pieces of the devil's tail together. Start at the arrow end of the devil's tail. Once you finish the arrow stop.
