24th Annual Sterling Fair Midway Opens

On Friday, September 7, 2007 the midway at the 24th Annual Sterling Fair opens for fun and games. The midway will open from 5pm until 11pm, and kicks off the fair, which starts Saturday. Music by The Stoolz begins at 7pm.

The 24th Annual Sterling Fair Midway is located at the Sterling Airport on Greenland Road in Sterling, Massachusetts. There is no fee to enter the grounds, only pay for tickets for the rides. For more information email the fair at fair@sterlingfair.org

BlackStone Valley CanalFest

BlackStone Valley CanalFest is a neighborhood street festival complete with horse-drawn wagon tours of the neighborhood and scrumptious food from neighborhood restaurants. Live entertainment includes a Vietnamese Dragon Dance, Salasa Storm, family folk music with Chuck & Mudd, and more.

On view will be a "full-sized water-filled replica of the Blackstone Canal sitting just above the original buried under Harding Street."

The Blackstone Valley CanalFest includes many events and activities for children including horse-drawn wagon rides, a pie eating contest,boat races, face painting, and more.

CanalFest is from 11am until 6pm on Saturday, September 8, 2007. CanalFest is held at Harding Street, between Temple Street and Winter Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.

MusicFest 2007

Enjoy Music by The Stompers, Devon Allman & Honeytribe, and Clutch Grabwell. Ticket prices: adults are $10 advance, $15 at the door, children six to 12 are $5, and children five and under attend for free.
