I'm going to be honest I stole Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Frizz Serum from my little cousin Kristina. She has extremely woolly, thick, curly hair. Thicker than mine, and honestly I did not think it was possible for someone to have hair thicker than my mess on top. But unlike my hair, Kristina's hair was always done up in a curly style; it was always neat, shiny, and gave off a sweet honey comb scent. I was jealous. While I was hanging out with her sister, I went into her room and saw a bunch of beauty and hair products on her counter. I noticed that the bottle of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Frizz Serum was half empty, so odds were, this was the magic goo that created this lovely shine, and left the lovely scent behind.
Now, I wouldn't necessarily call it stealing, because her sister (my other cousin) told me to take it, as she too helped herself to a few products and perfumes. Yes, the beauty of sisterhood.
According to the small bubble shaped bottle I could apply Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Frizz Serum to either dry hair or wet hair. The results would be shiny, super soft, and super smooth! Oh boy! Oh boy!!!! It also claimed to nourish hair, and tame frizz with it's light weightless formula.
I pushed down on the pump and used only about a dime amount. I applied only to the middle of my hair and the ends. I know that if you start from the roots you could end up looking like a grease ball.
The gel...or oil...or whatever it is?
Yeah that stuff. It is crystal clear and has a greasy oily feel to it, which I was not too happy with. Hair shining serums I have used in the past had a similar texture but not this oily.
The scent:
So fresh and so clean! It was not the honeycomb scent though that I usually smell when she walks by me. Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Weightless Anti Frizz Serum smelled more like grass mixed with a very, very light citrus undertone. Combined grass and oranges smells pretty dang good. Like some tropical exotic seaweed.
