President Bush: Agent Provocateur

One night while watching Who Wants to be a Superhero-yes, I have broken my ban on so-called reality shows, although Stan Lee's is so obviously scripted, I think it hardly qualifies-when my family and I began discussing what names we might choose for a superhero. My choice was The Provocateur. You'll notice I didn't say Agent Provocateur because they aren't the same thing, though too often they are used interchangeably. That got me to thinking: Could Pres. Bush actually be an Agent Provocateur in the service of the Democrats? Or even Osama Bin Laden?

The Yahoo Education dictionary defines agent provocateur thusly: A person employed to associate with suspected individuals or groups with the purpose of inciting them to commit acts that will make them liable to punishment.
