It's a good idea to encourage toddlers to make friends because you are in fact helping them to develop social skills which are going to be needed later on life. They will begin to make friends at an early life and come to understand the benefits of it. Developing social skills helps a child to develop confidence, increases their self esteem, helps to pave the way for better social interacting, and puts them on track to have a very successful social life. They will become well rounded and then they will begin to understand the value of having friends and how important it is to have open friendly relationships.
Having friends at an early age also helps with their communication skills. The success you achieve in life is largely the result of the social skills you develop along with your communication skills. It's ultimately your ability to get along with others that determine how far you go in life.
A lot of organizations will consider how well you communicate and express yourself when they are entertaining the thought of promoting someone. If you have plans, ideas, and activities you want to pursue then you had better have the necessary skills to persuade others that you in fact have a viable plan. Your social skills help you to become a better communicator, a better persuader, and it enables you to deliver your message forcefully, and persuasively so that others are enticed to back you in whatever endeavor you try.
We are social creatures by nature. That is why it is so critical to develop those relationships. To take it a step further it is a good idea to meet as many people as possible, including those with different interests, different backgrounds, different career aspirations and different cultures. Meeting many different people helps you to understand others with all these different characteristics which inevitably contributes to your success in life.
