The key is to cook them on low heat, because each patty is 1/3 pound. If you cook them on high, or even medium heat, the outside will get done long before the inside does. Okay, so Sam's Choice Black Angus Beef Patties are easy to prepare, but how do they taste. I was pleasantly surprised at the bacon flavor found in the bacon and aged cheddar burgers. The bacon flavor was all throughout the meat, but there were also pieces of bacon in the meat as well. While, you could see pieces of aged cheddar when you put the patties into the pan, you couldn't taste it once the patties were cooked. That was perfectly okay because the bacon more than made up for it.

Sam's Choice Black Angus Beef Patties are high quality. The meat has the perfect lean to fat ratio and the bacon flavor was real, rather than just flavor. The pieces of bacon where a little chewy, but it would be hard to get the bacon perfectly cooked while it's inside the burger.
