More recycle materials
So, as you can see you probably have many of these materials laying around the house. You can mix and match yoru own recycled craft materials, but I will get you started!
The first step is to create the face of your hanging Halloween scarecrow. You have a few options here.
You can use a plastic or paper plate. You can also use some old poster board or cardboard. Cut this out into a circle with a neck if you are using the cardboard or card stock.
Use leftover paints, markers, and other craft materials to decorate your scarecrow face. Eleven left over googly eyes work well on this recycled Halloween craft.
Once the face is finished you can move on to the body of your recycled Halloween craft hanging scarecrow.
If you have saved some of your children's clothing as they grew up I bet you can find a pair of denim overalls in there. You can also look for a pair at the local Goodwill.
If you want you can also cut out a paper pair of blue overall from a blue poster board.
You will also need one child size flannel shirt.
Go ahead and button the small flannel shirt on the metal hanger just like if you were having it in the closet.
Now, add the blue jean overalls.
Now to attach the scarecrow face you will need to poke two small holes in the face. These could even be the nose holes.
Loop the floral wire through the front of the hole out the back to attach the scarecrow face to the hanger loop part of the hanger. The part that hangs on the closet rod.
Now, Cut out a paper hat to glue onto the head as well.
You can cut out a piece of burlap for this one if you have it. Brown paper grocery nags work well too.
