The Engleside Inn at Beach Haven, New Jersey

The Engleside Inn is an oceanfront hotel in Beach Haven, New Jersey. It is located directly beach front at 30 East Engleside Avenue. The close proximity offers stunning views and direct access to the beach.

The hotel offers many different room styles to accommodate all guests whether you are seeking a room with ocean views, rooms with whirlpools, standard hotel rooms or suites. Room tours are available on their website.

At our last visit we were in a suite on the third floor which offered a separate sleeping area with closable door and a very large living area. A private balcony gave us spectacular views of the ocean. Waking to ocean waves then lingering out on the balcony to stare out at the miles of ocean and sandy beaches was a delight. Not all rooms offer ocean views, so be sure to request this if it is important to you.

They offer a small refrigerator as well as a microwave and sink area.

There is a restaurant on site that offers top quality food choices in a fine dining atmosphere along with a children’s menu. Guests from the hotel as well as locals and visitors frequent the restaurant due to its exceptional quality. The restaurant can also host banquets and meetings. A sushi bar is available to guests.

The Sand Bar, an outdoor bar located directly next to the pool area offers beverages and food choices, along with entertainment.

There is an outdoor pool area at the Engleside Inn. The pool is kept sparkling clean and offers numerous loungers for those looking to work on their tan or just relaxing while watching the kids splash around. With a small gift shop area near the pool, you can find snacks such as ice cream, or a small souvenir.

They offer an outdoor shower-footbath area for people coming off of the beach to clean off before returning to their rooms. There are paths that lead around the hotel. Be prepared to use them. If you choose to walk on the parking lot area wear shoes or flip flops. The parking lot is made from crushed shells and while it is fine for your car, it can be uncomfortable on sensitive bare feet.
