Did President Bush Play Right into the Hands of Osama Bin Laden in His Reaction to 9/11

Regardless of how well the war on terror might actually be going you have to admit there must be some good to it because there have been no more terrorist actions in the U.S. Or have there? It is an interesting proposition to be sure, and perhaps a bit more subtly sinister than most
extreme Islamic fundamentalist terror soldiers would be willing to go along with, but I have tremendous respect for Osama Bin Laden's intellect. He's the devil to be sure, but at least he's a smart devil unlike our own dumb Devil-in-Chief who just may be playing right into the hands of the terrorist and in the process have been watching over an America that crumbles into dust far less quickly than the Twin Towers, but with no less finality.

It has been estimated that if the President gets his funding request from the Democrats-and there is absolutely no reason to believe he won't from those spineless wonders-that the price of this war will skyrocket up to anywhere from one to two billion dollars a week. That's a freaking huge amount of money to flush down the toilet, which is essentially where it will wind up. And not even an American toilet. It is nothing less than amazing that conservatives and Republicans who rallied around Ronald Reagan's budget cuts for social services could conceivably put up with this kind of waste. I can guarantee you this; if even half a billion dollars a week was going to welfare you would heard such an outcry from the Republicans over how it is going to ruin the American economy that you'd clutch your hands to your ears like you do when those Head-On commercials appear on your television screen. The fact that this welfare is going to Iraq doesn't seem to bother many of them. (Oh, Chuck Hagel, why'd you have to go?)

I haven't defined Bush's slaughter in Iraq as our "war on terror" for a number of years. With the resources (money, military, integrity) he has wasted in Iraq, we could have easily removed the leadership and financial conduits of all terrorist organizations within a far shorter period of time. Bush's Iraq envy has only served to increase terrorist resourses, rank numbers, and their vehement hatred while plunging several countries into bloody chaos. Truly, we've barely begun to fight the real war on terrorism...the clock is ticking...and six years have passed.

It is truly amazing, that so many who would deny aid and help to mothers, children, the homeless, have no problem at all buying bombs and bullets as fast as the money can be printed..
