In this lesson we will be learning how to count from zero to five in the Spanish language. Think back on the first lesson. Remember how we learned the sounds that the vowels make in the Spanish language? You will be needing them for this lesson.

Remember to practice and practice often.

First, lets turn our attention to 'Zero'. In the Spanish language it would look like the following :

Cero

S - Air - O

Try it slowly. When you think that you have it down, try saying it a little faster.

Now lets look at how the number 'ONE' in the Spanish language would appear.

Uno

This is pretty easy to pronounce. Do you remember that card game played as a kid? Uno. It's pronounced the same.

For those of you who are not familiar with the game uno, here is how you would pronounced it.

Oo - No

Pretty simple, huh? Now lets move onto the number 'TWO'.

'TWO'

Dos

Pronounced as follows :

Doe - Ss

Above:

Now for number 'Three'.

Tres

When pronounced would sound like :

Trace

Above:

'Trace'

Moving on to number 'FOUR'. In the Spanish language is written as follows :

Cuatro

'FOUR'

The following is how the number 'FOUR' in the Spanish language is pronounced :

Q - Watt - Trow

'Watt'

Next is the number 'FIVE'. Lets take a look at how is appears in the Spanish language.

CINCO

Again, do not be discouraged by the letters. However, if you remember back to the way that vowels are pronounced in the Spanish language, the 'I' makes an 'E' sound.

If broken down it would be pronounced as follows :

Sink - O

Above :

Just like, 'I wash my dishes in my SINK.'
