Review of the History Channels Documentary The 9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction

After viewing the so called documentary "The 9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction" I was whole heartedly disappointed at the incredible slant the History Channel gave to the official story of the events of 9/11. It was just despicable in the way the "documentary" was set up to make the conspiracy scenario look like it has no merit and never did. I tuned in expecting to see a professional and fair back and forth opinion and rebuttal session with evidence from both sides and with both viewpoints given fair and balanced opportunity to be expressed. What I saw was anything but that.

First of all, the kept emphasizing that everyone who appeared on camera with questions about 9/11 was a "CONSPIRACY THEORIST" now you may say "well thats what they are" but no thats not the case. A theory is a belief supported by no or very little evidence the second there is evidence presented to support a belief it is no longer a theory it is now a plausible alternative possibility. But that did not stop the history channel from smearing the term CONSPIRACY THEORIST on every person that was speaking out to support the story that was not the official one regardless of their credentials.

Next every time a piece of evidence was presented for debate the screen would turn black then suddenly white letters would appear that said CONSPIRACY THEORY with very ominous music playing in the background. Then one of the proponents of the conspiracy argument would speak and it seemed like they were dressed to look crazy. Many of them looked like they were in t-shirts or have not shaved with a kind of a basement backdrop etc. Then the screen would turn black again with the white letters appearing now saying "EXPERT RESPONSE" and calming music playing in the background. Next you see a very distinguished looking "expert" with an office backdrop gives a nice version of the official story. It just seems to me that the whole way of the "documentary" was set up to not just debunk the alternative view but totally destroy the credibility of anyone that believes it or presents evidence to substantiate it.
