The Sports Watchers is ready to kick this 2007 NFL Football season off. And when a new NFL season comes around, you know what that means...

Predictions!

So to start it off, I'll be giving you a break down of each division, and here is today's division of choice.

AFC North

4. (2-14) This is undoubtedly the best division in football. And while that is hard to say after I just labeled the Cleveland Browns 2-14, it is the truth. And it is why the Browns will be 2-14 because they will not win more than 1 out of 6 of their division games...and that's a stretch. The Browns have al sorts of issues. The offensive line is horrible, and their best player at that position is probably a rookie. They have one wide out, and they can't get him the ball because their quarterbacks, Brady Quinn and Charlie Frye, are not good, not at these stages in their career anyway. Kellen Winslow is a stud, but once again, there is the quarterback problem. Jamal Lewis will probably go back to his old form, but he doesn't have the line to let the rest of us take notice of that. The Browns are a world away from competing, but having the first round pick of the draft next year might help them get closer to where they want to be.

3. (9-7) The hiring of coach Mike Tomlin will bring back the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense of old. No one will run the ball on this team. However, they will be susceptible to the passing game, and that's going to hurt them a lot in the AFC, but fortunately for them, there is only one team in their division who can really make plays down the field. The new hurry-up, quick passing game that the Steelers are expected to carry out this season will make Ben Roethlisberger look like a passing God, and that's really going to help out his backfield partner, Willie Parker. The Steelers return to plus .500 ball, will be a welcomed addition to the city of Pittsburgh, and expect them to make the playoffs in Tomlin's first season as head coach.
