The Sports Watchers is ready to kick this 2007 NFL Football season off. And when a new NFL season comes around, you know what that means...

Predictions!

So to start it off, I'll be giving you a break down of each division, and here is today's division of choice.

AFC East

4. (5-11) This team is one of the biggest jokes I have ever seen. After the Miami Dolphins fooled Sports Illustrated into picking them as the Superbowl winner last year, they went out and signed two coordinators before determining who there head coach was. So I really don't know what they are doing down on South Beach. RB Ronnie Brown should be the heart beat of this team. I know he didn't develop like people wanted him to last season, but with a decent quarterback in Trent Green, there should be more running lanes for the former Auburn star. The defense is much better than the offense, and so this team will not finish 1-15. In fact, I think that's exactly how it will break down. The offense will be so bad, that it's only good for one win, but the defense is good for 4.

3. (7-9) The New York Jets over performed last season with Coach Eric Mangini at the helm. So don't expect them to repeat themselves this season. In fact, New Yorkers are in for a major let down. With LG Pete Kendall being traded, this team has no veterans on its offensive line, and the running game was already questionable enough. And don't expect Jericho Cotchery to all of a sudden become a go-to receiver. He won't do it with Chad Pennington at quarterback, and he just doesn't offer up the speed that suggest he can repeat what he did last season, nevermind become a go-to guy. The defense is very scrappy and played well above its talent last year, just like the New England Patriots have done over the years. But remember 2005 when New England took that hit on defense because coaches began to realize that the Patriots don't have the individual talent to win individual match ups. I think opposing offenses will attack the Jets in the same way this season, and the Jets will get smacked back into reality.
