Baking Soda: The Most Fabulous, Cheapest Cleaning Product You Already Have!
It is so simple you will wish you knew of it sooner! It really is so easy to make that spot just disappear and it will not cost you much either. In fact, I would bet you already have the one simple thing you need, right in your refrigerator!
Follow the simple steps below to make your white carpet look new again!
You will need the following items:
Baking Soda
Paper Towels
A Dish Towel
Vacuum Cleaner
Sprinkle baking soda lightly over the stain. Make sure you cover the entire stain. Then place a couple of paper towels over the baking soda and cover with a dish towel. Let this sit for at least 2 hours, but it works best if it can sit over night. The baking soda and paper towels will absorb the stain.
Then start vacuuming, it works best if you begin with a wand or carpet brush to get rid of the excess baking soda, then go over it with your regular vacuum. After you have finished vacuuming the stain will be completely gone!
Baking soda is the absolute best celaner available and I will bet you thought it was only made to keep you refrigerator smelling clean! Below are a few more simple uses for your baking soda!
Use it as an abrasive!
Tough burnt on food stuck to your pans? Simple sprinkle on some baking soda and scrub as usual! The baking soda works as an abrasive and will help loosen the mess on your pans.
Mold Remover!
Have mold on the caulking in your shower? Make a paste with baking soda and water, then dab on to the mold spots and let it sit for two to four hours, then just rinse!
Whiter Clothes!
Want your clothes white again, but would rather not use bleach? Add one quarter cup of baking soda to your washer at the same time you add the detergent.
