Opinions Vary on Dolphin's Ability to Heal Humans

Dolphins are aquatic mammals and are found all over the world. Dolphins are said to be very intelligent and smarter then other mammals. They have complex brains that are bigger then humans. Some scientists think dolphins are intelligent enough to learn human language.

Dolphins are healing to people with emotional or physical disorders and diseases. The exact way in which they heal is unknown. There are many views and scientific opinions about dolphins therapeutic effects on people. High frequency sounds called sonar or echolocation is emitted from the dolphin's forehead or melon. The sound bounces off objects and returns back to the dolphin like echoes. The echoes tell them information about the object. They scan the object similarly to an ultrasound used in the medical field. Scientists believe this ultrasound ejection may be a reason dolphins are healing.

Sounds are known to influence the health of the human body. Sonar can identify areas of the body that need healing and then the frequencies of sound will naturally heal that particular area. Sonar is so acute that you can feel it throughout your bones, skull, sternum and then it goes up through the spine. There have been reports of physiological cell and tissue changes which could be from the frequencies of 200.000 Hz. Dolphins can use variations in echolocation sounds and can direct different intensities toward people or to certain areas in their bodies.

Some researchers state that swimming with dolphins helps strengthen the immune system by producing infection-fighting T-Cells due to the relaxation that is produced. Others say this isn't true because there are literal changes in brain waves and blood chemistry.

There are some scientists that think dolphins can sense human-energy field imbalances. It's said if the human energy field is balanced that the physical body will heal. Dolphins have a powerful energy which may affect the electromagnetic field and promote healing. They are said to strengthen humans disrupted energy fields which may cure injuries.
