I have been an MTV fan since MTV was put on the air, which seems like an eternity ago. I look forward to watching the MTV award show more then any other music award show. I have watched it religiously for years. For the past two years I have just recorded it so that I don't miss anything and if there is something that I don't want to watch I can fast forward it. Plus I don't have to sit through commercials and that is always a plus!So I recorded four hours worth of the show this year. I always watch the opening show to see who shows up and who is with who. That is one of my favorite parts of the show. Well this year MTV decided to do the show in Las Vegas. Now I have nothing against Las Vegas personally, in fact I love Vegas. Let me just say that Las Vegas is really not a good place to host an award show! There is too much going on there for one thing. It might be a great place for the people that are right there at the show live, but for TV viewing?? No, No, No! It was really hard watching the show this way. First of all it was way too busy. There were too many things going on all over the place and it didn't make for good viewing on our end. I enjoy watching the stars arrive and you couldn't really tell who was coming in at all. They still interviewed some people and that was probably the best part of the opening show.
