How to Choose the Perfect Beach Wedding Dress
Beach weddings are a modern twist on the traditional wedding ceremony. While beach weddings avoid a lot of problems associated with traditional weddings, there are some special circumstances to consider. One of the most important things to decide for a
beach theme wedding is choosing a beach wedding dress. Beach wedding dresses can be as varied as traditional wedding dresses.
A full length beach wedding dress is not practical for a beach theme wedding. Beach weddings, by association, are less formal than traditional weddings. You will not enjoy your beach theme wedding if you constantly have to keep tugging at your wedding dress and holding it up. Fighting with your dress will also ruin many photos of beach weddings.
Plus, a long, formal beach wedding dress will possibly get ruined by the salt and water at the beach. This has happened to many brides' beach wedding dresses. No amount of dry cleaning can get the salt out of a wedding dress.
If you absolutely insist on a long beach wedding dress, at least abstain from a flowing train or wedding veil. Both would absolutely be ruined by the water, sand, and salt. Plus, a train could cause you to trip on the beach. A long veil will whip around in the wind, annoying both the bride and groom.
A good length for beach wedding dresses is at the knee or tea length. This length is elegant and classic. A beach wedding dress of this length will not get ruined by the sand, salt, and water. The bride will be able to move around on the beach without her wedding dress getting in the way.
Consider the wind, also, when choosing a beach wedding dress. Don't choose a dress that flows and floats excessively. If you do, and the wind catches the wedding dress just right, your guests could end up seeing much more than you had intended.
