Christian Heritage Academy is located in Northfield, Illinois at 315 Waukegon Road. It is the only non-denominational Christian school on Chicago's North Shore. The school prides itself on not only a high standard of education that is expected on Chicago's North Shore but also prides itself in teaching Christian values to all Christian faiths. It is an independent, parent-governed school which means the parents are making school decisions in every facet of the school every day. They are a blue ribbon school, which is the highest achievment a school can receive in the program, "no child left behind".

People living in the North Shore come to this area because of the school systems. The taxes are high and they expect not a good school system but the best school system. Christian Heritage Academy know they have to compete with that level of standards and they meet the expectations above and beyond. The teachers are all expected to keep learning. This means they all are required to receive a Master's Degree and are required to be in courses which better their teaching skills and be on the cutting edge of teaching techniques.
