I could not wait for my local Target shopping center to open up. I remember having to travel for miles just to get to one. And when I say travel, I mean travel. When Target opened up on Horseblock Road in Medford, New York, I was in heaven; the drive was cut by 80 percent, and I could get there easily in less than 20 minutes.

So here I am, sharing my observations and thoughts on my local Target.

The Parking Lot:

I love the parking lot at Target. There are always security guards in golf cart type vehicles browsing up and down the rows of cars. Besides that the parking lot has plenty of parking, and you never end up walking half a mile just to get into the store.

The Bathroom:

Bathrooms are always important to me in shopping centers. I always have to make a pit stop for a large cup of coffee, and by the time I get to the store, I of course have to do my business. However in some shopping centers, you are forced to hold your business due to the foul nature of the bathrooms in these stores.

My Target in Medford though is always clean, smells like fresh lemon floor cleaner, and only about 1 in 10 times I visit are the bathrooms looking a bit messy. There are about 5 or 6 stalls, one including handicap access. The stalls are large enough to where you won't feel claustrophobic; yep, you can actually move around! The stalls also offer a coat/purse hanger on the door, and the door offers privacy. I don't know how many times I have been in places where the slit in the door was so gigantic that peepers could easily look in at you.

I have never entered a stall that had no toilet paper, and the sinks soap dispensers actually have soap in them.

The Isles:

Ahhhh....this is why I lubba lub Target. They have isles that you can actually fit your cart down; isles where you can maneuver around other shoppers, isles that are wide enough to guarantee a nice shopping experience without bumping into other people or shelves.

What are the things they could work on? Is there going to be a part two review?

1/3 way through and I agree with you - Target does have better prices on some things, versus Wally World. Still Reading
