Located in northeastern Wisconsin, Appleton is a wonderful place to live. Appleton has a population of around 70,000. There are many reasons why it is such a nice area to live, including education, health care, crime rate, culture and quality of life.

According to FBI statistics, Appleton is the fifth safest metro area in the county. In 2005, there were less then 173 violent crimes reported in the city. This included: 0 murders, 27 rapes, 16 robberies, and 130 assaults. This is low for a city of Appleton's size.

Another huge plus of the area is the education system. Along with the regular public schools, there are 15 charter schools, which offer a choice for all different kinds of learners.
