Shadows glide over deepest remembrance
Forgotten longings stir the bones
Hope springs within a barren breast
Dreams, once dead, arise within a sallow mind
Stirring it and all its deadened passions
Awakening a lost faith within
Life beckons like the glance of a lover
Torn heart, battered soul no more
Despair no longer a confidante
Beauty shines through darkened glass
Lost whispers dance across shattered pain
Time unfolds, revealing hidden youth
Love has come like a bridegroom
Claiming what was forever lost
Daring the heart to beat once more
