Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is the current title being thrown about on the internet as being attached to Indiana Jones 4. I write this not to keep you up to date, but to help fuel the fires of ridicule so that Spileberg, if this is indeed the title, will pull a switch like what was done with the Jurassic Park 4 scandal.

Jurassic Park 4 information leaked on to the internet and sites told the news of how the film would involve dinosaurs using guns. Let us take a moment for a line of Ha ha's: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Well, when Dreamworks and Spielberg heard about the jokes being made at the expense of said rumors they were quick to take said plot synopsis off of the books and say that Jurassic Park 4 is far from being worked on and no plots have been finalized. I bet the dinos still arm themselves though. Perhaps such a thing can and will be done with this horrible Indiana Jones title. As of right now it sounds like it might be a new puppet movie for the Jim Henson crew.

Indiana Jones 4 is being directed by Steven Spielberg and no official releases have been made to spoil the full plot just yet, though the cast is not a real secret. The film will star: Shia LaBeouf, Harrison Ford and I guess Cate Blanchette as well. There was a long debate over whether or not they could ever get Ford teamed back up with Sean Connery who played his father in the previous film. However, Connery caimed never to have been approached with any good ideas and decided to retire from acting altogether. Perhaps her foresaw the fruits of the minds who are apparently bouncing around the idea of a Kingdom of the Crystal Skull title.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sounds like some sort of budget computer game. I'm all for sticking with the slightly cheesy title names of the older films but that's just rediculous. I'd be embarassed to have the dvd on my shelf.

I don't care about George Lucas or what George Lucas likes or the 1930's for that matter..ha ha...I dislike the title

I don't know, Wes. While I thought your article was written well, I wasn't sure if you're trying to be humorous a la David Letterman or you really don't want Indiana Jones 4 to be released with its 1930s-serials inspired title. If the latter is true, then I'm a bit perplexed by your take on it, since the entire Indiana Jones canon (I'm including The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles) is essentially a tip of the hat to the Republic serials that creator George Lucas watched on TV as a kid in Modesto, California.

Well, Wes Laurie, if the name gets changed I'm going to credit, or blame (if it gets worse) you. There are still some of us old schoolers around who like to see Harrison Ford. Interesting article.

I was kinda surprised at this too - and did u see Shia at the MTV awards when he announced it? There was a big yawn - nobody cared or noticed....

Until the film comes out to theatres and actually says Kingdom of the Crystal skull..released by studio or actors it does not matter it can be called rumor or will be called that by the studio if the title does not impress and they wish to back-track..thus my example of jurassic Park 4

I know..that's why I suggest making fun of it so that it gets changed...a lot can happen between now and then
