Lennox will begin her tour on the west coast, move to the Central and Midwestern region, and Southern states. As of this writing, Annie Lennox will wrap up her tour in Boston in mid-November. She may add additional dates and locations to her tour.
Born in 1954, Annie Lennox once won a scholarship to the London's Royal Academy of Music. She dropped out and went on perform at clubs around London for several years. In the mid 1970s, Annie Lennox was the lead singer for a small band named the Tourists. Lennox later went on to become the lead singer for the band, the Eurhythmics. They had many tours.
In addition to tours, the Eurhythmics had many number one hits, both in the U.S. and U.K. Some of their biggest hits include "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," "Love Is a Stranger," "Who's That Girl," and "Here Comes the Rain Again."
Annie Lennox left the Eurythmics in 1990 to have a baby, and the group quietly disbanded. Lennox returned to the music scene a few years later as a solo artist and has performed in concert while on tour as a solo artist.
