When I first started watching Glenn Beck, I could not stand him. I would often listen to him for about two minutes and than switch the channel when I had enough. I viewed him as arrogant, loud and just plain annoying, and I felt that he was overly sarcastic. He came on right before my favorite show, Nancy Grace, so I would always catch the tail end of his show, and had no choice but to watch him, who wanted to miss any part of Nancy?

While he was reporting on the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, I found myself watching him and his body language and really listening to his words. In addition, I discovered he was sarcastic, he is loud, but he does so with tact that is respectful. When you first watch him, if you do not know his style you may feel offended, but rest assured he does make apologies for things he may feel might seem offensive to his viewers. He, however, does not apologize for his views, he tell you things that you may not want to hear or believe, he often tells his audience that he makes no apologies for "delivering the ugly truth."

Glenn Beck has many different sides to him. He can bring out each side, without taking away from who he is or what he wants to say and what message he wants to deliver. He can speak with enthusiasm, with rage, with humor, with respect, with sadness, and with joy and you believe each and every emotion he shows. He can express his feelings in a straightforward manner that keeps you intrigued with his speaking style, and you find yourself coming back for more.
