Iraq Veteran John Bruhns Speaks Out
John Bruhns is a move on.org member, his previous occupation as an army sergeant- being deployed in Baghdad has left him with an innate understanding why the U.S. needs to withdraw our armed forces. His memories of the war bring a staggering and sober reminder how this war has gotten so
far out of hand. Any soldier that has been on the battle field in Iraq or deployed in any region in the mid-east hold a special view on the war-than what is seen on television or depicted in the other media.
Unfortunately this war has become an extreme burden and inconvenience for those whom are thrust into the arms of despair and lost hope.
There are so many opinions on what we should do, and what should not do. What can be done to secure the Middle East in its quest for peace? Do any politicians have the answer; does anyone have a permanent solution? At the present we have come at a loss where the war has gone.
The peace negotiations are under constant scrutiny, the Iraqi military forces are failing miserable. John Bruhns knows the downfall of keeping our troops deployed for another year. The failed policies that were first implemented have fallen short, and this is also the month that the Congress will vote on the war policy for the upcoming year.
This will be crucial in deciding the fate of our U.S. Military-if we stay the course or begin the exit of a region spiraling completely out of control.
The Bush Administration scare tactics have been to conduct as many meetings, talks and debates about why the U.S. should believe in his strategy and stay the course.
The U.S. military death toll is 3,760-one trillion dollars spent-71,529 Iraqi civilians killed.
The Iraqi government has only meet three of the proposed 18 supposed congressional mandates-this proposal was to be a strict order-in order of the regions stability. The Iraqi Accountability Report served by the White House has been a failure; this has been reported from many reliable sources-including a draft from the GAO final draft.
John Bruhns relevance on speaking out on the many pressing issues that trouble many American citizen's mind also weigh heavy on our heart.
