Jim Jones, who is the arbitrary thug and spokesman for the 'City of God', has been in talks with joining the G-Unit rap group without causing dissension within Diplomat Records. Jones was said to have appeared on the Black Entertainment Television channel, video-show, Rap City, to make such a brave proclamation as to considering signing to the Unit. Jimmy by industry insiders are said to be a
free agent looking for perhaps a
new single record deal signing. This rap artist alone has on four occasions almost received a gold plaque from the starting sales of his first four albums, helping to lead the underground hip-hop movement over recent years. Those same four albums are probably certified gold right now, although the Sound-Scan numbers aren't quite clear as to how many units per
album sold were made for each specific
album release tally as of this current year. Jones is quite the thug entrepreneur as the sly and ruthless persona he personifies, yet is an ingenious businessman as well as his articulate business co-founder and boss-comrade, Cameron Giles.
