There is good news for young people who want to gawk at women and men who spend most of their time inebriated and who crave constant admiration and attention can find some of these same "hot spots" in their own towns. No matter where you live, I guarantee that there is a "hot night spot" containing such people near you.

In Tinley Park, Illinois, we have several nightclubs that cater to those who want to dance, drink and mix with others. And in each one of them, you are pretty much guaranteed to meet someone who acts exactly the same way as the Lindsay Lohans and Paris Hiltons of the world.

In places like New York City, club-hoppers know all about standing in line for hours waiting for hours in the hopes of getting into an exclusive club. The doorman will scan the crowd every once in a while and pick those he deems as being "suitable" allow to enter the club, pay a hefty "cover charge" for the privilege of hearing loud, DJ music, and to have the honor of paying at least $10 for a drink.

Many people devote much of their weekend time in New York and other large cities, club hopping in the hopes of "getting in." They don all types of apparel, from thong bikinis to exotic dresses in the hopes of catching the doorman's eye. They don't mind that others, who have been determined by the gods to be more "important" than they, walk right into the club and if they're really important people, like Lindsay Lohan, for example, they have a separate entrance.

Many of these people do not know the name of the vice-president of the United States and have not registered to vote. Instead, they spend their time waiting behind a velvet rope, decked out in outrageous dress. And waiting to be recognized as "worthy."

Hm. Is Tinley Park anywhere near Chicago? Long story... but I may have to go to Chicago instead of NY to straighten out my paperwork glitch...
