Without a doubt, it is Christian's revolving door of lovers that is the true crux of this show. Despite the program's premise, which revolves around the patients' desires to change how they look and feel about themselves, "Nip/Tuck" writers do a terrific job of really diving into Christian's character. The spectrum of people he's been involved with spans a fairly wide length. His conquests range in age from barely legal to over-the-hill-crossing all color and cultural lines. Granted, his intricate entanglement with Kimber over the past seasons has garnered the most interest from viewers. #2- The Surgeries Will Be Controversial

In Season Four, after seeing Dawn Budge's (Rosie O'Donnell) ear get sliced off by diamond thieves, viewers were treated to the scenes of a valiant mouse assigned to growing Dawn a new ear. Earlier episodes include a man requesting hair implants all over his body, a woman who has her damaged lips replaced with an intimate part of her anatomy, and a man who wants his perfectly healthy leg amputated for no reason at all.
