Ugly Betty Returms with Season 2

The ABC network returns with Season 2 of it's hit Latin American show, Ugly Betty. The series based on a famous Latin soap opera "Betty La Fea" premieres Thursday, September 27th. The overall concept of Ugly Betty is to promote beauty from within and shows how Ying and Yang life can really be in the world of fashion publishing. America Ferrera delivers a flawless performance as Betty Suarez, a plain girl from Queens, NY with no sense of style but dreams of becoming the next big fashion editor. She has braces , big hair and commits social suicide daily but that doesn't stop her from accomplishing her job at the end of the day. Mix that with the hustle and bustle of New York City and over 10 eclectic personalities and you've got the hit show of the season.
